Ashlynn and Colton at Ashton Gardens

This warm and charming couple were in particular wondering if we might be able to play “The Book of Love” for Ashlynn’s walk down the aisle. A quick check on YouTube showed that the song had been recorded by Peter Gabriel for the 2004 film “Shall We Dance”. And fortuitously, in arranger Nick Ingman’s lovely score only strings were used to back up the vocal.

After some time spent listening and transcribing, a string quartet instrumental version was created and turned out beautifully for the bridal processional last Saturday at Ashton Gardens.
